Bit.ly Marked by Facebook as Abusive, Posting Impossible

The world’s biggest online social media networking site (that’s Facebook for those still living under a rock) has marked Bit.ly links as abusive that leads to dead links that frustrates Facebook’s users. In fact, you can’t post Bit.ly links because Facebook will just block it with an error message.

Bit.ly allows users to shorten, share, and track links (URLs). Reducing the URL length makes sharing easier. It is based in New York City, and began as a project at Betaworks.
