Share Your Windows Screen in New Version of Skype (Beta)

Besides instant messaging and VoIP-based calls, users can now share their Windows screens with each 0ther with the release of Skype 4.1 (in beta stage). It’s not as fast as your dedicated screen-sharing apps that’s usually used in help desks or virtual collaboration meetings.  Users can share their entire screen or just a portion of it. Since screen-sharing is like video broadcasting, you cannot simultaneously share screens while on a video call – you can only alternate using either. Other new features include the reintroduction of birthday reminders and importing contacts from LinkedIn, Live Mail, AOL and GMail (also reintroduced).
