How to Manage Your Time

Can you keep three stopwatches in your pocket so that you can “start and stop” any of these every time you spend a particular category of your time in something that you do, per day? Jim Collins does. He manages his time by keeping track of how he spends time in things he manages: 53% on creative, 28% on teaching and 19% on others. When I read this article, I thought it was one of those great yet simple ideas that actually works. Although the article speaks of Mr. Collins and the books he’s written, I pondered more on the description of tallying how he spends his time.
